Best intake for a 98 Accord V6?
Sup everyone, i just bought a 98 Accord V6 coupe and i was wondering what are some quality intake systems i can get for this car. I want quality and am willing to pay a bit more for a better constructed intake and don't want those crap intakes those on ebay. Which big name brands are priced right? I don't want to go the cold air route.
AEM or INJEN short ram. Its been tested over and over on http://www.v6performance.net and the SRI outperforms the CAI. If i had known better i wouldve gotten the SRI but i have a AEM CAI.
EDIT*** Do Not get a Ebay cheapo intake no matter what anyone says. Yes you can simply replace the filter and it performs, but when you pay for the bigger name brands you pay for more than performance. You get street legal operation and fit and finish quality unsurpassed by the cheapo ebay intakes.

Does an intake system increase the sound of the engine tone considerably or just a little? I know that some intake systems sound like it has an exhaust on it and i don't want that.
i believe the short ram will give it a slight....high pitched sound at the higher RPM's...to be honest i havn't heard an accord with a short ram, but my friends GSR has one...its just a high hum at the higher RPM's...not too noticeble
