JDM tranny
I just recently got a JDM B18C engine. It came with an automatic tranny. Is there a difference between the JDM GS-R auto tranny and a USDM itegra tranny that's not from an ITR or a GSR?

according to my title, you stole my comment....
but anywho. Yes there is a differnce, for 1 - the auto is automatic and the manual, is well... manual. But the main difference is the fact that one has 4 gears and the other has 5... toss in that manual LS you have, you'll be fine

USDM model gsr/ITR's dont come in an automatic... so there would be a huge difference. if the motor came w/ an auto tranny, and the people you bought it from didn't tell you it had an auto tranny, i'd send it back at their expense.
i'm not saying your motor is USDM or anything like that... i just meant that there isn't really a way to compare since there is no USDM auto gsr. you could compare it to a USDM auto LS, which probably has a little longer gears in it. thats probably the best comparison i could give.
