im going to be doing my hmt setup here in a week or two and found that im going to have a problem with the downpipe. i would like to see your downpipes if your running a t25 or 14b.. looks like im going to need to buy the plate and have pipe welded on to it, but im not sure if i can drive open-turbo across town to the muffler shop! thanks in advance!

 

as far as drivin with the open exhaust (if that was a ?/concern) you could for a short distance but it will be very loud

 

im concerned with under hood heat.. dont really care to melt my radiator fan or anything

 

I have a t25. My down pipe makes a quick 45 degree bend after the o2 sensor and just misses the x-member. I welded up a section of flex pipe followed by a cat. The flex pipe works well (not for flow) but gives the system some room to move around and expand under heat. Sorry, I don't have any pictures and I don't really have time to get them up.
