I was wondering if anyone has converted a 96 civic dash where the cd player and climate controls are to a 99-00 dash. My dash has the controls that slide left to right, but I want to change it to the dash that has the **** that turn. How hard is this, is it worth it.

The reason is to have more room to instal a few gauges where the cd player would normally be. Thx

 

I searched this and saw that it has been done, but looks like people swap out the whole dashboard. I was thinking I could pop out the center where the climate controls and radio are. tips or suggestions anyone?

 

swapping the whole dash would probably be easier...i think theres a write up on how to swap a gs-r dash, looks pretty nice, check it out

 

will the integra dash fit the ek? i know it fits the eg, but didnt think it fit the ek

 

My friend did the 99-00 dash into a 96 civic.. If i recall he took out the whole dash, swaped the wiring and i believe afew other parts i think it was the heater box. since the 99-00 is electronicly controlled where there older model was almost hand controlled IE sliding from hot to cool.
