This will be my first event in the HPDE class....anyone else driving this?

yeah i wanted to go also but it's full... oh well i'll just wait for hyperfest which is next month

 

any info ? do ineed to get a nasa license or membership?

i just resgistered today and only group3 was open, whew! amazing though, i've never seen 2 sections for group 3, we're usually pretty empty.

i just pm'ed you slammed_93_hatch right before i saw this thread good luck on getting in.

I've seen other people do that. They would register for group 3 and, on the day of the event after the first session, tell the instructor that they are uncomfortable in that group. If there are some no-shows in group 2, then the instructor will move you to that group. However, if you are stuck in group 3 and really get in the way for the other drivers, you will get a talking-to by the instructor. I will be there in group 3 in my yellow CRX.

hmmm interesting, im confident in my skill, to the point were i don't think i would be getting in the way of any one out there. hmmm if by sunday a spot doesn't open up i will register for group3

If you've been to Sears Point in group 2 a couple of times and are comfortable with traffic around you, then you should be fine in group 3. Have to move up at some point in time, right?

I'm waiting for hyperfet too... going to test then...

 

bumpers for this one....my roll cage is getting installed today. for safety.

I have to go get my car checked out by one of the NASA shops that do tech inspections.
