I have an Teg GSR 94 with 120k. The car suddenly jerked and went into safe mode. I need help trouble shooting.

Problem:

When I drive it, it seems to bog down until I hit 2k rpms, after 2k the car is fine
This happens also when in neutral.
There are no engine codes.

What I have done so far:

Changed Fuel Filter.
Checked timing
Cleaned throttle body. Took it off and cleaned it with cleaner.

I'm not sure where to go from here. If anyone has seen this problem please let me know what you did to fix it.

this is probably related to the ignition system of your vehicle

check the distributor cap for cracks
rotor
spark plug wires may need to be replaced

also check the spark plugs.

 

I forgot to mention that I've checked the cap and rotor. I have also replaced the spark plugs and wires.

That is why this problem is bugging me, I wish there was an engine code.
