Will my ITR pass smog w/ these mods?
I have a 00 ITR with AEM intake, DC header, Spoon exhaust, Spoon clutch, Spoon flywheel, Spoon cams, Spoon cam gear. do u guys think will it pass smog with the stock p73 ecu?
you need to make sure the carb legal parts are for your year ITR or after.
You cannot have an 1998 carb approved intake on a 2000 car although most places will just see the carb sticker and let it go w/out looking it up.
give it a shot and see where your emissions come up....nobody can tell you if you will pass or not until you actually get tested.

In CA chances are NO you will not pass, i myself am in CA.
Where ever you decide to go, ask them to do a pre smog test...they will hook up the car run the machine, and tell you if it will pass or not, without sending info to the govern, usually it is around $20.
But with the exhaust/header if you go to a place that does work "by the book" you will automatically fail the visual.

Not strictly true. CARB says nothing about exhausts. The header will pass if it has a CARB# on it. The Comptech header, for example, is CARB legal.
If your valve cover is cut for the cam gears, I doubt you will pass visual.
I doubt the cams will pass the sniffer test no matter what you do.

if the gears are exposed, no you will not pass visual.
btw i know a person that passed with skunk type 2 cams, but he had to use 2 cats one after the other. the tech looked the other way for visual. he just cared about the sniffer test

Almost nothing.
You won't pass legally in CA.

you should actually try driving your car a little hard before the smog testing. for some reason its easier to pass smog after the car has been driven for awhile. my friend couldnt pass smog before with his b18cr and the mechanic told him to go drive his car around for awhile and push it a couple times and come back. and well when he came back he passed it, go figure. i know its weird but i guess it works..
