In my camaro i had JL audio components up front wire to an Xtant amp but for my CRX i dont want to step up to an amp yet. I've got a pioneer head unit (7600?) and wondering what sounds good in these cars? Boston Ac? JL? What series?

I like warm sound from Hendrix to Silverchair to Pearl Jam to some classical maybe?! Somebody with this type of taste comment please

i use eclipse components up front and eclipse point source in the rear w/ a PPI amp

 

2 stock 04 accord and tweeters, 2 amps, 8" sub, pannasonic for the back speakers. got all for free. lol. bumpz

 

infinity kapa's is what i will be rocken, they sounded great in my friend's civic

 

Boston Acoustics up front.
Rally series 6".
Mid-bass driver in the door and tweets in the corners of the dash.

 

5.25" Boston Acoustics up front, no rear speakers

 

Kicker resolution 6.5" and tweets in Kickpanels and Kicker 8" midbass in doors.
Jbl 80.4 amp and all audio control processors and old Clarion 9675 head unit.
No subs

 

I had alpine 6.5 all the way around. The model number is SPS-170A. I'm gettin a new system will post later

How did you get 8" to fit the doors??!?!?!?

I currently have pioneers all around... 6.5 in the doors and 6x9's in the rear.... just ordered some new infinity's though

i got 6.5 inch alpine type r components up front powered by an alpine MRV-T320 and no rear fill, no need then i got my 10 inch type r sub powered by an alpine MRD-M500 in a sealed enclosure taking care of bass

No pics at the moment. Just had to use a piece of 3/4" MDF as a spacer. By the way they are 8" midbasses which only have a 2.25" mounting depth.

rockford fnx components 5.25"

tweeters are kinda harsh but it sounds good enough for now.

 

infinitys all the way around, 6x9's and 6.5", infinity make amazing speakers, i dont think i could blow them if i tried.

 

The old car had Image Dynamics horns and mids

The new car - soon to be rockin' DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3's - can't wait!

i got SP's in the back and the components up front

 

JL XR's in the front and TR's in the back in the Tahoe and Memphis all around in the Accord. Both sound great. The Memphis is a little brighter and the JL has more mid-bass.

 

i've got the same taste in music and i'm running the alpine type-X 6.5 componet set. they're alright...a little too bright for my liking. I've been contemplating going all out with an active dynaudio 3way setup.
