Default Anyone at M Club Friday @ Meadowlands?

Out of curiosity. I should be there as long as my intake install goes well tonight.

Gotta love those 3rd gear M-club courses!!

I'd love to be there, but I don't think I can get out work on time

I've run with them on two occasions
on both occasions, they had a high speed 70+ mph sweeper, in the middle of the sweeper was a huge crease (dip), when the car hits the dip, its throws it off balance, and you gotta catch it

M Club is known for their 3rd gear courses

They wrecked 2 or 3 BMW M3's last year

How is the M Club responsible for that? AFAIK, the drivers were just going too fast, and hit the curb. Having done many of their events, I can't really see how the dips are responsible for that.

I couldn't take today off, but I'll be at the one on the 20th, most likely. I like the way that they run things. Them Germans is efficient!

Just got back about 30 minutes ago. Whoa! fast course Definitely something I"m not used to in SCCA SoloII.

We got 9 RUNS! All in the low 40 range. I think I ran a best of a 41.6 and was still slaughtered in F class. 4 runs for the first part and 5 runs later. Each heat was like 30-45 minutes long with 20-30 cars in each heat. Now that's efficiency.

I didn't even have time to breathe it went by so fast.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't see your other competitor's times or if you hit any cones or went of course. AND safety is a big issue like Dan said. I was the only corner station holding my red flag. One guy went through the course the wrong way and started heading towards the other competitor HEAD ON! I'm yelling red flag red FLAG! but of course no one has one in their hands. So they had to jump infront of the car waving their hands.

Long drive also. 3 hour drive for me which makes it the longest I've travelled for an autocross that wasn't a National type event.

course design was probably a small factor in some cars crashing
A better course designer would make the dip more of a non issue
how many autox clubs wreck 3 cars in one year? and I mean totalled the car

Well they are pretty rich guys

Some of these guys with the newer M3s had 285 wide Hoosiers on what looked to be SSR Competition wheels in 18"! Two of those wheels are worth more than my car
