when buiding this block i will need to replace gaskets and what else? does anyone have a list of or a diagram of the engine so that i can order these parts... another thing what about the oil pan should i get a ls or a gsr oil pan?

 

a gsr oil pan will not fit a ls. you would need either a ls or b16 oil pan

 

a GSR oil pan will fit an LS as long as you have the GSR oil pick up and baffle. I wouldnt change the pans unless your putting on a block girdle of some sort
