hello someone please give some advice on this b20 thing
will a b20z complete head, with a LS intake manifold, and a b18 bottom end go fast on a 92 hatchback cx, and what I should do to make it go faster
Kind of a dumb question considering we dont know anything at all about the car. What tranny do you have? What size rims do you have? What ECU do you have? What all has been done to the motor? B18a or B18B bottom end? Can you drive worth a ****? Full interior? Has the head ever been milled? I mean you have to give some specifics if you want a answer. Also really is no way to tell exactly how well this combo will run. All depends on the driver and how it is built.

Isnt it the other way around with the BIG 2000cc at the bottom and a smaller GSR or B16 head on it? Could have sworn so... oh well, Im a noob

If your not planning on doing a Vtec swap, a LS block with a B20 head will perform like a regular LS would. The only way you can make any power without building your LS would be to use a Vtec head and Your LS bottom end but from the sounds of it that might be a bit more complicated of an endeavor than you should probably tackle by yourself at this point. In response to your OP, a vague venture of a guess in a stock chassis EG with the stock components you described would likely equate to a low 15/high 14 sec pass at 96-97ish mph with an LS final drive trans. If your using a more ideal shorter geared GSR/SI trans you could pull off a mid 14 sec pass in the high 90s mph wise......IF you can drive. If your not very seasoned at the track your looking at a 16 second Setup to be totally honest.
