I was wondering if anyone had information about shaving the side molding (the molding on the fender,door and rear fender) off of a 96 civic. For the molding can I just take it off and then fill the indention with fiberglass and then do the finishing sanding or do I need to weld a strip of metal in the indention and then fill it with fiber glass.

How much should I expect to pay to get it done professionally not including being painted just sanded up and then primered?
