Default JDM dohc ZC or US sohc VTEC?

i plan to add nos to my car mainly for show and weekend go, but my main focus is the heart of my engine...i swapped in a D15B7 into my HF after i blew it racing a GSR...its fine, but i need more power, and i plan to hit the show circuit in 2002....i also need reliability...i know the ZC pushes 130 at 7200 max, but finding parts is a bitch. what about valve cover gaskets and sensors and etc? are those easy to find once you've blown them? the sohc vtec pushes 125 at 7200 max as well...it's much easier to get, runs just as fast, and parts are everywhere...how does the zc and the sohc vtec respond to turbo's ....i also plan to boost in 2003 (yes, i am a realist...i won't have the cash for a turbo til then)...both are very straightforward swaps, but to get that jdm edge, a zc would hit off well...but there's always that nutbusting sound of a vtec engine screaming at 7000+rpm....

90 crx hf with d15b7 head/block mated to hf intake manifold, running 91 crx ecu....
