Chipped P28- Tune with VACF then burn fuel map to new chip?
Howdy-
I've been running a chipped P28 ecu with my Ls/Vtec setup for approx 20k miles now, but I have yet to get it professionally tuned. I don't have the money to purchase my own VAFC at this point, but I'm wondering how else I could properly tune my setup running just a P28. Would it be possible to use a borrowed VAFC on a dyno and then transfer those fuel settings/Vtec engagement point onto a new chip for my P28?? This may sound like I'm trying to find any easy way out, but I'm low on dough and I'm running pretty rich. Thanks in advance

wasup bro....borrowing a vafc to tune will only be good if you keep that vafc hooked up. As soon as you tune it w/ a vafc, and then you disconnect the vafc, your settings will be gone. Only way possible to tune a map for your car is if the dyno shop has the program uberdata. They can run and burn different programs for you to find out which one suits your motor the best (since the ecu is socketed)
