im doing a full b17swap in my 88 DX....we were bolting the motor in 2night and the tranny is wedged on the frame rail....is it just me or is the YS1 tranny bigger than any other b-series tranny? someone please let me know how to resolve my problem...thanx in advance

 

Ys1 tranny should work no problem... I have a Ys1

What mounts are you using? Any pics by chance?

 

well if you are using the HCP mounts you need to put a notch in the frame rail so the tranny clears. they list it in the instructions on http://www.jdmshit.com

someone correct me if im wrong

 

it says notch the rear so it doesnt vibrate....imma just take the motor out in the afternoon and make a small indention on that side and just go from there
