Default Gas Mileage (Canadian)

Hey there, first post on honda-tech.com but i've been reading threads for a little while now. Can any fellow Canadians tell me what kind of mileage they get on a 6th gen Si. I've only been getting around 400km or so but I do take it into vtec rather often.

Before I get flamed as all the noob's seem to, I searched and only came up with American numbers.

if you fill up with about 10 gallons, then you're getting about 25 mpg, which is perfectly fine if you're doing mostly city driving.

1mile = 1.6km, 1 gallon = 3.8L.... what they dont teach you guys the "english" system up there?

if you feel like you're getting crappy milage, try doing a full tuneup. also, do u have any mods? they tend to make ou suck down more gasss

Well my 99si (ex in the US) is bone stock, I just bought it from the dealer and it should have come all tuned up, it at least had oil change and filter and the spark plugs seem good. Anything else that could be causing the poor mileage? Does going into vtec eat gas alive?

You're getting about 26-27 MPG's on (assuming) combined milage? That's not bad if you have your foot into it.

If you are pushing the car, that mileage is fine. Next time you fill up go easy on it and see what you get. Flooring it and running it like a race car will make your mileage around what you said.

na man, they don't teach us obsolete systems, only the states still use this. so why should the rest of the planet care ?

are parent were taught this thought when they were kids, so there metric isn't that good either.

if I ask for a meter of something, my dad wouldn't know how long it is. lol

I can get over 400 km easily.

Mind you, depends what kind of gas you put. Where do you fuel up?
