the metal wing will make ur rear wheels get more tracxtion becuz the motor is rear wheel drive. the engine is a d17 and there are so many parts available for that car man.. gosh u can do so much where to start...

first thing first trade it in for a crx or a hatchback that is the best idea i heard all day... but good luck ..

If you just want to keep it clean and simple, just a good 1.5" drop and some nice 16's looks pretty good. Unless all the new EX's come with those clean looking wheels I have been seeing lately. It all depends on your wants from the car( mostly stock, trying to make it really ast on the street, auto-x...etc).

Here's some advice on "how to build a perfect civic". Put on a double stack "APC" wing from Autozone or Kragen for superior look and be able to launch and fly when your about to race someone. Then add a Shogun Full body kit for maximum performance then drop your car by cutting your stock springs. For more traction and control add 19" chrome rims to stick on the road. Don't forget the 8" "APC" exhaust tips with neon glow. After all these mods to your car you will be pimping and "MaDd TytE JdM yO!!!" Good Luck.

First step is to trade that car in and get a 92-00 Civic.

Yeah. Screw most of the body kits on the market. IMO the 7th gen looks way better just lowered with rims and a front lip. My advice, save up for a k20 motor. It's worth the wait and the money, trust me.

turbo it...or trade it in for a swaped crx,92-95 hatch or 92-95 dx coupe that has a b seiries engine swap. Those cars weigh a lot less than your ex and have more options when it comes to modding and would be cheaper which means more money for other junk like going to bars and strip clubs.

the d17 isnt as much powerful as the B/K/H series out their. i'd wouldnt bother making it faster unless you really love your civic and want it to go fast (which requires a lot $$$).

i have an 2003 ex and if i had the chance to go back, i would've invested all my money into suspension rather then performance. if you go I/H/E on the d17, you'll prob get an estimate of like 5hp? 6 if lucky for like $1000? is it really worth it?. but a cat. converter may help. i say that because i have an hi flow cat and it gained little, but enough to notice the difference.

its an economical car, not a race car
what do you plan to do with the car anyways?
