I wrecked my Accord
Couple weeks ago I rear ended this truck and sadly, I only had liability so im on my own to fix this. It is a 1990 Honda Accord EX. I know a lot of people are saying just total it, not worth fixing cause of the mileage but it runs great and everything in it has been replaced such as valves, gasgets, etc.
But on to the point, unfortunantly I do not have pictures but I can give a brief description of what happened. The front bumper is ok exept for the top, being scalped and the radiator pushed in, hood bent, and right front headlight busted. Nothing behind the radiator was affected thankfully, and Im 90% positive the core support isnt bent. Now I'm wondering anyone know where i could get a front lip kit? What a lot of my friends are saying. Sadly this is almost greek to me. Could anyone throw me a bone here maybe on what i need to do? Perhaps instant messenge me on AOL and we can chat? Thank you

sounds like you need a front bumber. hit up your local junkyard and see if they have a front bumper/whatever you need behind it/radiator/lights/hood for sale. heck...take a friend and they may let you just go out into the yard and pull the stuff yourself and save a lot of money! check all the junkyards though...anything OEM will cost mucho $$$$. sorry to hear about the accident and good luck!
edit: see about getting a helms or some sort of manual as it will show you everything you need basically (screw locations, etc... to pull the bumber). also, do a quick search on bumper removal, etc... here on HT...i bet you its been covered plenty of times! again, the lip is the small black piece on the bottom of the bumper...

Hmm know by chance how much a new radiator would cost and basically pulling the inside back to the front to fit a new one in? or can i just replace that with a brand new front?
pictures would be helpful...new radiator is around $100. we really need some pictures to give a better assement. what kind of damage is there to the body, ie: any of the supports damaged, etc...?
get them hosted at http://www.imagestation.com then hit the picture button up on the tool bar
