Default Anything wrong with running the SMALL HAMP oil filter in my ITR and my TL-S ???

i know acura recently switched to a smaller filter for the RSX's and maybe the other models too (not sure though).

just wondering if there are any major drawbacks to running it in my 2000 ITR and my 2002 TL Type S. (i know there will be less filtering, but i change the oil every 3K on the ITR and 4K on the TL-S)

TIA!

what's the benefit of a smaller filter?
I've also heard about people using s2k oil filters, what's up w/ that?

S2000 is the only filter still made in japan available from Honda. The rest are by honeywell.

I believe that there are a couple of different manufacturers with their names on the various small Honda filters.
