Default Where to buy a GOOD H22.

So I blew a head gasket on my F22 prelude S and I figure why sink the cash to fix it when I could just go buy an H22. Where can I get one? I have seen http://www.totaljdm.com and jdmsource.ca and a few others, but don't really feel like risking a 2400.00 dollar buy on the net. anyone know anyone that you can really trust, or someone in the Minnesota area. I have an Avalanche 2500 too so I can go get just about anything and bring it home within reasonable drving distance.

I don't know, I have never looked. Up to this point my prelude has been my good gas mileage somewhat quick bang around in car. My avalanche is my supped up hoop dee. That thing is running at like 400hp and 500lb/ft at the crank. I have the 8.1 liter. But now, my run around car might need the one upgrade I've been dreaming about for 4 years. Thank for the input I will check them out.

Do you have any ACTUAL pics of the motor you just got in from hmotorsonline.com? those would be really helpfull. I might just fix my F series to get it running again, but the man in me says I want to go 0-60 in 6 seconds. I am worried that if I put in the H22 I won't be faster than my avalanche and I will be pissed.

Thought about the long block... It's just easier to get into the shorty. Unless I build everyhting myself, and to be honest... not gonna spend the time. And Hmotors online looks pretty reputable, I'm just wondering about pictures from you guys that have bought from them before.

JDM Club has ripped off a lot of people as well...

I was lucky enough to actually get my motor from them (and it was in good shape to be honest) but I got fucked on the tranny (came from some European SI model, not the vtec I paid for).

How bout this to sum it up for you. Go Hmotorsonline or dont go at all. Simple as that, you will not get a bad motor, and if you do they will send you another one out within 3 days from your call, they kick ***.......and they are quality motors for a fair price. Just when you order it be sure to kick in the x-tra $50 for the downpipe or you will be SOL when your done unless you wanna shell out the $$$$ for a aftermarket header.

got mine from hmotorsonline.com looks/works great although i think i may have to take them up on their "all sensors garunteed" policy as i'm throwing a tps code and a vtec solenoid valve code. Also my thermostat was stuck. on top of that, the header they gave me was cut so i had to grab a dc header. other than that, it was a good buy.
