No, you can't link to an image on your hard-drive. The image needs to be on a Web server with a valid URL. Host your images at a service like ImageStation: http://www.imagestation.com.

To post a pic you press the "Image" button. You put the URL of the image betwen the "[IMG]" and the "[/IMG]". You can get the URL of the image from the address bar or by right clicking on any image and selecting properties...

yeah it is free.. ImageStation is the best in my opinion. They let you upload a huge amount of photos at no cost...
