unless you have it written down somewhere, take it to the dealer and get them to give you the code. it's a 5 digit #. the guy at the acura dealership around here did it for free, just take out the radio and give it to him. he'll come back and have the code for you. HTH

if you have the owners manual, there should be a card that comes in the little packet to hold the manual and other papers... this card would have the code.

when i went to get my code pulled they told me that the code might be on a sticker somewhere in the car. check on the sides of the ashtray under the fuse box lid and in your glove box. they ended up charging me $21 dollars but they wanted to charge me more. goodluck

You're looking for a white card that is the same shape and size as a credit card, only thinner. I just went through this myself. The dealer wanted $30 to remove the head unit to get the serial number off of it. Then they can obtain the code. If you take it out yourself and get the serial number, they might nit charge for it.

The service writer told me what the card looked like and I finally found it where I kept my spare key. It was in a clear plastic bag that it came in, about the same size as the card.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

What a joke! Dealerships =

Just go in there with your VIN #, registration & ID and they should find the code for you in 5minutes with no charge. Also check the places mentioned above.

Yeah. That's what I thought, too. They told me they had no way to determine the code from the VIN. They had to have the S/N of the head unit. Perhaps some dealers save this information for the cars that they sell.
