Hey guys.....

Wife says car is making noise.....get in in drive it and it sounds like a Prop Plane taking off at speed. Noise gets softer as speed decreases, and more prevelant while turning left. I can feel and tell its coming from the front left.

I took off the wheel and the CV boots are intact and not leaking. Nothing is rubbing and tire looks to be wearing normal. PS fluid is ok.

I am thinking Wheel Bearing. Never changed a FWD wheel bearing and need to know if its any different than RWD.

ANY POINTERS OR RECCOMENDATIONS OF WHAT ELSE IT COULD BE?

The boot doesnt have to be torn for you CV to be bad. I would bet its you CV's

 

Oh man dont tell me that. Ok......got to have them checked out!
