Default OT: I need a specific pic>> White DC2 w/ front end no tinted windows. Help me beat this ticket

Like the title says, I need a pic of a DC2 with no tinted windows to beat this stupid ticket I got for tinted windows. Just in case the cop shows up to court I want to get it as close to my car as possible. White, JDM front no tinted windows. That's pretty much all he's gonna care about. I'd really appreciate the help and no lectures about how it isn't right or whatever. Thanx

I think you have to rip off the tints also, which totaly blows. I'm sure there are tons of pictures on here like you need. Have you tried using the search function, or even google?

YOu are going to show them a picture of a car and tell them it's yours to get out of your tint ticket? They don't need to see it for you to get it signed off, or are you trying to fight it?

what are you going to do Photo shop the Licence plates?

hahaha..... I bought the car like that and I just don't want to go through the trouble of taking off the tint and then re-tinting the car for a day. I really don't care about getting caught again. It's all about what the R wants.

I got 3 tickets total....1 for tinted windows, 1 for having a rosemary hanging from my rearview mirror and 1 for no front plate!!!

Hey, I'm gonna have to do that too! Maybe you can help me. I'd like to use Photoshop to change the license plate number on a car, and I'm going to put the car up for auction on eBay. I know it's wrong because I don't really own the car, and some poor sucker is going to be out thousands of bucks, but it's FREE MONEY! I'm going to get thousands of dollars this way!

Illinois has a law against hanging rosemary from the rearview mirror. The only herbs that are legal to hang from your mirror are parsley, thyme, or basil.

(Ever wonder whether someone is just pulling your leg on h-t.com? )

WHAT?! I don't need a pic of any plates. I prefer a side pic showing no tints.

A Fix-It ticket at least where I am requires that you just show up at the Police station that issued you the ticket and show an officer in person with the offending vehicle, (not even the ticket issuing officer) that you changed your car and complied with the codes, and they issue a compliance ticket and take your issued ticket and done deal.

Otherwise go to court and see how it all plays out.

I'd seriously bet your idea of the pic won't work, and you might even get into more trouble.

^ What Anton said.

Lying to the judge or whoever with a picture of someone else's car is going to make for a funny thread.

I appreciate your concern. (4 real) But I wouldn;t do this if I thought I would get caught. I have to go to court and plead not guilty then just show the judge the pics showing that all has been changed.

Famous last words... I wish I had a penny every time I saw someone say that on an epsiode of COPS!

Do the right thing. Take the crap off your car and THEN plead not guilty.

Yes, this will make a funny thread in the future. And just by the way you post and think you'll beat the system I can only laugh as I guess why the cop did write you for those infractions.

The other thing to realize is that an equipment violation is not the same thing as a moving violation. If you plead guilty, all you do is pay the fine; it doesn't go on your driving record, so your insurance rates don't go up or anything. So just paying the tickets may be an option for you.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer and you should consult with a licensed attorney to verify the implications for your particular case.

P.S. Put the rosemary on your roasting chicken and bring some in to show the judge as proof that it's not still in your car.

OK... back to the issue. If no one has a pic it's perfectly fine. I will eventually find what I need, just thought someone could help me out. I mean I would it's not like any of you could get in trouble for helping me out. Like I said spare me your "you'll be sorry BS". I always try and stay "neutral' when it comes to these threads. But I now understand why some people get aggrevated.
