Is the Skunk2 label on the IM a sticker or a metal plaque? Does it look like it can be easily removed?

We said the manifold has to be IN YOUR HANDS.

I don't see any hands there

They don't look cold or dead, either.

Does it have a place for the stock IM brace to bolt to it?
Can you take a pic of the bottom?

I still do not understand why the runners are longer than OEM H22A runners. How do the plenum sizes compare? It looks like top-end gains have been sacrificed for low- and mid-range...

you also have to realize that the h's doesnt rev no where near as high as b-series, and those are the mani's where used to seeing.

id like to see a pic of it next to a stock mani.

how much did it cost?

and how big are the all the runners and the plenum. think they're big enough for a turbo app?

That's not what I said... I never compared it to a B-series 8000+ rpm tuned IM. I compared it to the stock H22A base intake manifold. There was a picture posted showing the Skunk2 IM to be 12in from face to face and the OEM H22a at 11in, and the difference was all in the runner length.

Our motors seem to suffer from torque dropoff starting at about 7k'ish, and it seems to me that shorter larger intake runners would help out some... not longer. Of course only dyno comparisons will tell if Skunk2 put any R&D into it...

I was quoted $339 shipped BTW

Nice pic. Just a couple of quick comments:

1. The difference in the runner length seems pretty obvious now. BUT the IAB system kinda adds to this because it's not a straight line like the Skunk2.

2. The difference in runner width might be offset by the IAB... this is assuming equal wall thickness (OD - ID)

I can't wait to see some solid numbers

ps- that pic might disappoint a lot of the Civic guys with HCP/Hasport mount kits...
