I have my B16a Motor Sitting in the chasis supported with Avid motor mounts (pain in the ***/garbage should have "Hasport it") I've gotten the run around about how to finish the wiring. Some say use the original Hf harness and re-wire the 2nd o2 sensor, the vtec selenoid, blah blah. But my .02 tells me, "there's gotta be a reason why there are so many more plugs." Ex: A 13 male-prong and a green 2-prong male coming off on the driver side of the Fuel rail that should meet with the ignition box. However the iggy box has the same green plug but the white harness piece only has 8 female slots? What's going on? Please give me some SOLID detail on how to Wire this engine in, correctly. l8z

 

use the HF engine harness - sounds like you don't have HF harness, but do have a DX harness - the HF harness has a round 8 pin connector at the driver's side shock tower - the DX has a round 14 pin connector - the Si also has a round 8 pin, will plug into HF chassis harness, but won't work as all of the wires are in different locations in each side of the connector - the HF harness will plug right into everything on the B16A - you will have one connector left over which went to the EGR valve on the HF (won't use it) - you will need to run new wires for VTEC solenoid to ECU pin A8 - VTEC pressure switch to ECU pin B5 - 2nd O2 sensor to ECU pin C8 and knock sensor to ECU pin B19

 

i have the hf harness and biggity-bam...everything fits cept the egr connector (3 lot female) so i can clip that. "you will need to run new wires for VTEC solenoid to ECU pin A8 - VTEC pressure switch to ECU pin B5 - 2nd O2 sensor to ECU pin C8 and knock sensor to ECU pin B19 " Do you know the coloring for these wires? maybe a link or something...muchos gracias mi amigos

 

A8;no wire there - B5;white with yellow stripe - C8;yellow - B19;green with red stripe
