my friends 96 EX (stock D16 5-spd) will not start. We have pleanty of fuel in the rails and in the injectors. Plugs are fine and gapped properly. Wires are ~3 months old MSD8mm's, no problem with them either. We've pulled the plugwires at the distributor and cannot get ifre or it is EXTREMELY weak. It stalled while under light acceleration monday night. we managed to get it started once or twice that night (just enough to get it back to my house 4 houses down). It wouldn't hold revs and we had to keep on the gas to keep it from stalling again. The starter is new and so is the Fidanza flywheel. We're thinking there is either a ignitor coil problem or simply a bad distributor. Any suggestions? is there a way to check the ignitor coil for the correct voltage? I've searched through the archives and have been unable to find anything solid.
