I know this has been prob answerd b4 but how can I get the sunroof to quit chattering when I open it. (Mine seems not to do it when I close it! dunno why tho?)

get some grease and it'll take care of that chatter. i need some for my mine as well

 

any specifit type my dad seems to think that If I use any ole grease it will mess sumthin up?

 

yes, use a good quality silicone grease. Put it on the rails on the sides, and on the bars on the roof, mines is super quiet now

 

yea mine shudders too when i open it...only at the very end tho. but its smooth and quiet when i close it

 

i used the white grease (lithium grease) for my sunroof and it solved my problem.

 

Yea, fnd something thick that will resist weather. Oh yea, before you grease, don't forget to clean the tracks.

 

Doesn anyone elses GSR or any teg witha sunroof for that matter, rattle a tiny bit when fully open? If i close it a few MM, it stops, what the hell is that?

 

Mine will sometimes chatter when fully opened...to cure the problem, I just gently slam the visor back.

Actually this rattle comes from the fact that the lining for the moonroof is PLASTIC. I took mine back to Acura (warrenty back then) and they fixed it free and the more you use it, the faster it wears. One of the very few things I hate about the Integra.

 

I use mine everytime i get in the car, LOL.

 

I use my moonroof everytime I get into my car too. I tend to use the windows less. In my opinion, I wouldn't buy any car without a sun/moonroof period.

 

dude i hear ur cries.....uprgrading suspension is evil sometimes...even with a soft street set up, everything still rattles and chatters..it sux......especially on east coast.....
