Im getting ready to build my whole back hatch area in my crx mainly the upright and the cover and maybe even the storage compartment lid out of abs plastic and carbon fiber vinyl to cover it and i was wandering if you guys think i should start making them and selling them or should i just keep it with my self???

 

if u really want to make them i know some ppl that might want one. like me.

 

Im going to make the upright pieces tommorrow they will be carbon on the front side and carpet like on the back side you will have to use your existing mounting brackets ut they will all be precut for them, ill take picks and i can email them to you if you want thanks Toren

 

do u think u could make it like with no cloth. if u made it all out if fiberglass or sumthin and let ppl be able to paint it i would take one that way it has more of a customized look. just shooting ideas at ya. good luck

 

I can make them out of regular abs plastic which is an 1/8 th inch thick and it is a light gray color. i have 7 sheets of abs plastic and you can actually mold it if you have a heat gun or you can paint it but like i said it is light gray already. i think it would be lighter than fiber glass and more pliable also because it can flex if needed..
