What does it mean? I thought I did but now I am confused. What does each do? Smog capable?

 

i think they r the codes and/or wiring. like obd1 is the wiring or that year of motor. like my crx is obd0 but if i got a 96' gsr motor i would have to have obd2 wiring. it all bout the wiring.

 

on board diognostics.
1 is 1992-1995 and 2 is 1996+

 

OBD0 is that what ever is eairlier then 92 and up?

 

i believe so bcuz my 90 rex is obd0

91 and older is considered "OBD 0"

Yea its considered OBD 0 really its just NON OBD. On Board Diganostics.
its the wiring ecu and sensor structure.

Hmm... never really was clear on this and the terms seem to be used differently by different people.

I am lead to believe that OBD-0 applies to our Civic's and CRX's as 88~91 where there is PGM-FI (dual or multipoint).
non-OBD seems to refer to BEFORE 88.

 

i always thought that obd0 and non obd were the same. i thought that obd0 was pre obd. i could be rong tho.

No your right.. NON OBD = OBD 0. = OBD 0 is not a real OBD its just what
people started calling NON OBD
