B16 or B18C?
To broad of a question bud.
Search then come back with more specific questions.
B16 is easy since its obd 0 and the b18 will require more wiring and money.
Both good choices.
Both require close to the same amount of work to install aside from some more wiring for the B18C since you need to convert to OBD 1.

either motor will be nice.
i've had my b16 for almost a year w/no problems.
Eventually you'll want more.
If you want to convert to b18c5 later. get the b16
It's pretty easy if you know what you're doing

well these two engines aren't good to compare, its like apples and oranges, the b16 has less displacement and therefore has less power, but the b18c also has a dual stage intake manifold and costs a lot more. of course if you could get them both for the same price i'd go for the b18c, but to tell the truth i'd get the b16 simply because its so much cheaper and only has a little less power. plus if you get a b18c with a hydro tranny you'll have more hybridization and you'll need hasports expensive hydro mount kit. get a 1200 dollar b16a and enjoy vtec. then when you get bored get a b18c bottom end and get some head work and cams etc. trust me the b16 is very fun, best bang for the buck.

yeah what this guy said or you can take it a step further and run an 85mm resleeved b18.

u need to get the wire harness for the motor and then i think u might need a conversion harness bcuz ur car is obd0 and the gsr is obd2, if the gsr is 94-01. i think if u get a b16 it is obd1 to pass smog. so ya they arnt that hard i wouldnt think just lil but more money for wiring.
yes they do.u can find them pretty easy its just little more. i think they r like $150. and they r easy to use. just letting u know bout the smog thing. do a search on the smog things onthis site and it will help u make ur car pass. here is a link that might help https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=944945
