wonderin about engine and tranny swap
hi, i have a 92 prelude and it has a 135hp motor, with 200,000 miles..i was wonderin if my transmission will fit a vtec motor, or if i need to buy a new tranny?...thanx for the help!

You may want to read through the entire FAQ and essential link at the top of the forum. It should answer all of your questions and more.
In a nutshell, you can mate any H series block to an F series tranny. Also, use the search function under tranny to find an ocean of info.

yes it will fit, but if u do use it after the swap u will smack yourself on the head for spending $1200 on a h22a longblock + labor to install when you are disappointed because of the horrible gear ratios, AT LEAST got with an h23 tranny but everyone here will rec u just get the h22a tranny
