h22/23 motor help for boost

Default h22/23 motor help for boost

i need to know which is better to boost the h22 or h23 motor. i plan on doing a fully built motor. i've heard didnt options on this input and i can get a h23 at a local junkyard. thanks for the input.

if your doin a full build it wont matter unless you want more rpm's

at the same psi the h22 will give u more torque/hp, but h22 will cost you more money, h22 will rev higher than the h23, h22 has better ratios (i'm sure people are going to argue with this one about longer gears better for boost blah blah blah, but every mod on HT will tell u shorter gears are better in all cases), if u can get an h23 for cheap then go with it, otherwise h23's are usually harder to find than h22's

also search around to see what other people have and their dynos w/ the diff motors

The H23 would be cheaper and easier to tune. If you can afford it, I say go with the H22, and the h23 tranny.
