hey guys, i was just wondering is there a how to / diy on bracing and ss autocrap manifold, im 16, minimum wage yadda yadda n im gonna boost but on the budget so, i searched around but couldnt find a how to on it so would someone like to point me in the direction of one, or better yet make one if there isnt??

or decent pics of ur braces on this manifold would be good too just to get the general idea

 

I believe even by bracing the manifold it will inevitably crack, I would just be prepared with a welder. Good Luck finding a DIY, and good luck with boosting.

 

there was a guy either here in the FI section or on homemadeturbo.com that had braced it and it was holding up )dont know how long it has been). If you are doing this on a budget, why not use a OEM (HF,CX,VX) manifold. At least if it cracks you arent out 150 bucks.........

 

yea ive definatly been considering the hf manifold route but i was just wondering cuz i know ive seen some peaople post about making a brace that holds the turbo and it makes the manifold work just fine so i was just wondering if ne one had written anything about it or had any good pics of such a brace

 

don't forget about the wastegate position problem
