The best alarm system is the one that offers more leyers of protection or options and also depends how the tech installs it. Although, even with the best alarm in your Si, it could be stolen if the thief is a real pro.

damn if i had a ride like that 1st thing i would hav is the biggest and best system i can buy!!!

layers of protection will work the best they can cut the little viper wire they can yank off the stupid auto lock crap but they might forget somethin ... or get too frustrated and just forget about it... but the only real thing that can work wit a theif even though u will take some loss is full coverage insurance it is a bitch but wit a ride like that some1 is gonna take it sry to say hate those hoes just like everyone else

just layer it up.

insurance
DEI alarms (clifford, viper, python)
clifford black jax
trackings systems like DEI's GPS or Boomerang (which may not be available in your area right now)
lo-jack early response (like GPS or Boomerang)
auto locks
removable face plate for your stereo
clubs
kill switches
pain generator sirens inside the car
backup sirens
air horns
kill switches (I know, but I am stressing this one )
removable steering wheels (if you don't like stock air bagged ones)
compustar 2 way remotes (or DEI)
rerouting your hood cable
keep nothing in your car.
no registration in the car.
denver boots
hook locks
lock your glove box
keep your wheel lock in a "good" area "hidden"
that should get you started

DEI (Viper/Clifford/Pythons) with 2 way pager capabilities run about $300 I think. It depends where your vendor is and if they do the install with purchasing your equipment as well. You'll have to find out who your local security expert is

Clifford Blackjax, which is a separate component, will run you about $200 (parts only)

I'd recommend that as well

How do you do all that stuff? it's called layers Little by little :B

-aoib0t, who knows a security installer in his area

u dont have to get an expensive brand like everyone else suggests just get a reliable company u can even use prestige if u want..........good/reliable/very affordable...............most important is INSTALLATION that wires are hidden well and alarm brain is hard to find! U can have a $1000 alarm if I look under the dash and can see where it goes then the alarm is just a noise maker. Most mportant things to hide are Cutoff relay and Brain.
