It looks nice, but i wonder about that engine in there, would anyone please clarify this for the crew.
Thanks.
If so, why didn't they sell this here? i would have bought one on the spot and not pay so much for the damn vtec i have.
Thanks.

If I had the money I'd buy that car just so I could strip his interior.
EDIT: I emailed the guy and asked him for details on the engine, so maybe the seller will be able to shed some light on this non-VTEC 'lude.

I like that interior with black outside, i think it matches and it is nice, i'd buy it if i had no prelude, but i'd only offer 9g's.
It looks legit. Look at the redline. It doesn't go past 7000. I've never heard of one.
Honda only made VTEC Preludes because the Prelude was supposed to be the flagship car for the Honda car line-up in the US. They were pretty much forced into it because the Prelude was a car known to be on the VERY expensive side for what you got.

yup it's the F22B DOHC they kept putting that in preludes there. That's why if anyone says JDM H23A (the non-VTEC one) you can laugh cause they don't exist
i sure as hell wouldnt buy that car from that seller since he has no buyer feedback and wont accept escrow or paypal....only way id touch it is if i was abel to meet him face to face.
clean looking car though, id like the wheels

Yeah, I figured if they put them in 4th gens, then why not the 5th gens too...

usdm bumpers? no turn signal light holes up front=JDM, you must mean no typeS lip...
and seeing the 4 lugs on a 5th gen is just plain weird! BUT I gotta ask why did they ever bother creating both 4 and 5 lug versions?
thanks for sharing, awesome find. and c o m e on now, u can trust this guy, he probably owns that other white lude in the garage.

Put it through altavista http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/Mod....html
There were even 2.2 SOHC engines in 5 gen in Japan.
And this one above is exactly: http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/Mod....html

Hell must have froze over... But i definitely wouldn't mind picking up some 4-lug 5th gen wheels...
