Default ATTN: KATMAN and other JDM experts...

I saw a JDM EG2 (real-deal imported) at the NOPI show here in GA. It was a stock silver, and I need to know what color that would be.

I've heard it's called Pewter or something? If anyone knows the common name, or even the actual paint code, that would be great.

Also, is it found on ANY USDM cars? Heard that it's on the new CL, but I'm not sure...

Also, anybody got any pics of nice, CLEAN EGs in silver? Thanks a lot...

Come on, that's just WRONG. "Experts" is loose term. Do you really know it? It would save me the trouble, but if you're really not telling, then I'll just have to hunt it down.

THAT's the one...I just need the paint code or even the Honda name for that color...

Maybe I could get in touch with that guy...

BTW: that Del Sol was THE ****. Watching the roof retract and extent itself is amazing - never seen anything like it. MUCH better than any Lexus, Benz, roof scene etc.

So, how about that silver?

I'm not into weed, but that dude must have gotten ahold of some AMAZING stuff before he wrote that ad!!! Regardless of its origin, NOPI status ( ) and all the Mugen stuff on it, I'd think 20-25K might be a bit more realistic--everyone knows you can't make a good return on mods...

that color is called Vogue Silver Metallic. It came on the 96-97 S model del sol in the states. I believe it's avalible for other models in other countries. Here are some member pages from http://www.teamdelsol.com that i got.

Isn't this called a CRX? I thought the name Del Sol was used only in the North American Market.

THe transtop can technically be installed on a USDM sol. I dont think there's ever been one that has completly worked all the way though. I heard it's a big mess to install it. THe transtop has it's own seperate ecu just to operate it and stuff.

Does anyone know if the color

"Pewter Grey Metallic" comes on any USDM Hondas/Acuras? And the paint code? i've heard it's on the new CL and TL Type S?

That's another color I was thinking of - but the Vogue Silver is bad-*** too.

Anybody got pics of the Pewter Silver EG? All I've seen is mine on GT3

nope....we tried it. we had two of em. the hardware fit but the wiring was the biggest pile of **** in the world. we only figured about half of em. also, he had custom welding done in the trunk for the transtop support. believe me, just get the whole car. he is actualyl selling the jdm sol. i think he wants like 6-7k for it.

I did see a silver EG coupe yesterday. I doubled glanced at it since I never saw a silver coupe before. It was totally stock and a girl was driving it. Wonder if the paint was OEM? Did you check at the dealer? I know they all are dumba$$'s but that might get you pointed in the right direction.

Also, you coming out Sat to the dyno and hang?
