I was standing right there at T3 when it happened. FFR spins to the inside and is heading for the armco. He realizes this and turns hard left, actually going counter course for a little bit. He then gets it turned around the right way and rejoins.

I did not realize that Chad was the cause of all that mayhem

until after the race.

This isn't time trials, it is racing. Having a faster lap time, but losing doesn't get you much... I've got two things to say about all this:

The plaque for the alternates is down in the ladies room AND There are no points for second place.
