GT4 Nurburgring video (56k go away)
Found this download link for the GT4 BMW promo DVD of the Nurburgring. It's kinda long (455 Meg) but it's insane, one full lap, and a replay.

Can't wait to do a virtual lap of the Ring in my virtual Type R
The car stops in front of the gate to go onto the F1 track, so hopefully in the game you can drive it too.

That is a 466mb file...so it's not going to be a 2min download...unless you are blessed with a direct T1 and gigabit Cat6 line.
I'm on standard cable and it's 426kb/sec

Fantastic!!
My observations:
1. That car sucked and I wish the vid would have been with a 'real' race car or sports car (IMO of course)
more importantly:
2. The nose diving under braking... never seen that to that degree on GT3 - very nice to see.
3. the 'feel' of the game even at 100km/h (at least from the vid) is much better - it seemed much faster and lively than 100km/h on gt3. Seemed like that got the motion down a little better (more accurate?)
4. just seemed much more refined and the fact that nurburgring is on there - wow.

Cool vid and all...BUT, they STILL don't have the silhouette of a driver in the car. I think that sucks.
and there had to be a better car than that one to pick! lol Probably just picked a Beemer cuz it was a German track, so they picked a German car.

Actually they do. I have a video where he's driving a convertible and you can see the guy in the car turning hte wheel during the turn and also taking 1 hand off to shift gears.
