defi gauges

i just got an oil pressure and an egt gauge from a member on the board. i looked at my gauges today and neither of them were on 0. is this something i should worry about or will they correct themselves when wired up?

Are they electronic.. If so they might return to zero when you give them power.. I would try this before you install them into the car..

yea there electrical. i'll try and test them out when i get home. but hopefully it shouldnt be a problem?

They should reset back to zero after doing a self-diagnosis swoop every time they're powered up.

i have an ac-dc converter. can i just touch them to that?

Should work fine..

On a side note.. How accurate are the defi gauges as opposed to autometer.. I like the look of the gauges and am thinking of switching from autometer to defi..
