play in the hub...do i need new bearings?

Default play in the hub...do i need new bearings?

my hub has alot of play in it...does that mean i have to change my hub bearings?

did you use your wrist tool or a gauge to measure "alot" of play? I would have to look it up in the book to see what service limits are, but you need to purchase the entire hub, about 100$ a side from len. easy to put in.. do an alignment afterwards...

if the bearings are bad just replace them.

Might be your bushings - I had the same play in what I thought was the hub bearing, but upon closer inspection it was badly worn inboard LCA bushings

14,XXX miles. my axles were siezed in the hub and i had them pushed out by honda on a press. anyhow, the rotors and calipers are off the car and i was inspected everything. the hub wiggles (side to side) very losely.

If the hub moves side to side than it is the bearing.
