1992 Accord transmission dump of fluid...
Possible problem and resolution.
Loaned my Accord to my daughter-in-law and it stopped moving. Engine runs fine. Transmission fluid has dumped out. Cannot get behind all of the panels to see where the leak is. It seemed to occur over a not so short period of time. She noticed it smoking and within 15 minutes or so it stopped. I put in a quart of transmission fluid to pull it into the shop and it was pouring out very quickly. Car ran fine once the fluid reached where it needed to be. But, it dropped the quart in a matter of minutes.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Does this model cool the fluid running it through the radiator? Is there an optimal position to view the potential problem? It sprays so quickly, I am wanting to have a clue where it is coming from before climbing under and getting all of that fluid sprayed on me... lol I imagine that would be a bit of a mess...
Thanks to ny and all that may help with this problem...

Hard to say where it is coming from. But yeah, it does have a cooler.
Grab a light and look at the general area very carefully. then, if you can't see where the oil is coming from, start it, put it in gear and hold on...
