Default h22 swap 97 accord

Does anybody know what motor mounts i need from a prelude to do an h22 swap into a 97 accord? I was told that all i need is the front driver side mount but im not sure. Also if its a 2001 engine can i only use mounts that are from a 2001 or can I use ones from earlier/later years, and what years can I use, and where can I find them? I havent been able to find any. thanks for your help.

you can either use accord mounts or prelude mounts, but you can't mix and match...the driverside mount is the only one you need from a prelude, and it needs to be ground down a bit in order to fit, but it's not hard...

but i can still use the other accord mounts with that one driver side mount from the prelude right? does it matter if i use a mount from a 92-96 prelude on a 2001 h22?

Yes...u can use the passenger mount (aslong as you car is already a manual), front, and rear L bracket mount from your accord. Find a 92-96 Prelude passenger mount from a junkyard...then grind about 4mm on each side. Enjoy...

JdmAccLude,

I know this is an old thread but I figured I would give you a try. I am doing a H22 swap into a 97 Accord SE and am also doing a 5speed conversion. I have the conversion almost complete, just gotta get a hole saw and drill through the firewall for the slave cylinder. Anyway I am wondering about motor mounts. I am installing a 99 H22 so I seem to have aquired a bunch of useless mounts with that motor. I got a 96 drivers side Prelude mount and a 94 Accord 5Speed passenger mount. My question is will my Accord automatic, front and rear mounts work, if not which mounts should I get because I at least need to replace the front mount because it is torn.

Thanks
