#1 Looking to boost some power in my 98 Accord (Auto Trans), any suggestions? ( ie. Cold Air Induction, etc)

#2 When backing up and step on the brakes I get a wicked sratching sound from the drivers side caliper/rotor

#3 Lowering springs? any good, not really looking for super hardcore stabilization, just a lower profile.

Any info anyone could share or pass along with much appreciated like usual.

 

Depends on your buget and how much power you are looking to get. If your just looking to get a little extra I/H/E, maybe some under drive pullys (aem), and aV-AFC would work fine.

That scratching sound when backing up sounds like its your rear brake pads hitting the wear indicator. May want to take a look at them to see if they need replaced.

Lowering springs can never go wrong with Eibach. However H&R, Progress, and Tein all all not bad. If your looking budget. Progress is going to be the lease expensive of all.

What are the benefits of cold air induction and what type is the best? I live in Texas where we can sometimes get a lot of rain at one time.

The brake sound I am trying to describe is coming from the front caliper, I recently had to change the rotors because the OEM were warped.

As far as your brakes, have you pulled the pads to see if they are at the indicator mark?

It could be brake dust or your pads are almost shot.
