first and third gear feel exactly the same. im running a b18a1 in an hf with a ys1 tranny. when i upshift from second to third, it sounds like its down shifting. i know im not going second to first. i have no grinds. im not sure what (if anything) the problem is.

Seriously though, are we talking about rpm jumping through redline downshift type feel?

 

no it feels like im shifting into 1st again after i go into second. it doesnt hit redline but it seems like another 1st gear almost?

 

maybe you're not i 2nd ... 4th?

 

well then why cant i get into first (saying that i actually am goin into 4th). theres no more room to mover the shifter over if this is true. i dunno im confused? could shift linkage cause a problem?
