Who knows how to take care the windshield wipers???
I discovered that the black paint "arms" of my windsheild wipers are fading? Anyone has the same problem? How to fix it? Or do I need to replace a new one??
i paint mine with flat black engine paint and it holds up well...i do it about once a year to keep the coating newer looking...taking the arms off is really easy so it only takes a few minutes.
Yeah, they just fade. And, you can't wax it either as they will turn white. Just use 'em for several years and get a new arm.
If you get a new arm, get one off '91-'94 Vigor. It comes with a built-in "down-force" blade looking thing. (very technical term.
). BTW, if you want a better visibility, also buy a Bosch wiper assembly made for Acura Vigor. You get 2" (i think) more visible area than a puny integra one. Yes, they don't have any clearance issues.

nope, i wipe em down a little bit with ultra fine steel wool and then a wet towel....then spray paint them, im good with spray paint and it has never bubbled/dripped for me...i do lots of thin coats, and no they dont look painted, they look stock.....i mean, if you scrutinize mine next to new ones or unpainted ones you'll be able to tell...but if you just look at my car and look at them you wont notice...they look normal.
