Nice car, bout time you got the B16 in there . What else you got done to it? Those pics are making me want to rip out my interior again, but its too cold right now. You even cut the front part off the bumper and put wire mesh on it. What other plans you have for it? Btw, like the avatar-Godlike

Pretty much stock, with ACT 6 puck unsprung and stock pressure plate/flywheel. I have a vafc, but its untuned. I just got it so that i could raise the vtec xover. I'm using a PW0 ecu which has the 4x00 crossover, but the motor is second gen so it needed something closer to 5500. Plannin on going CRVtec. Gonna find and build a B20 block first, then i'm gonna rook the head from the B16a.

One thing about KMFDM is the kick-*** cd covers. They're working on a new album right now if you didnt know.

My car had a 5200 RPM crossover for VTEC, we found on the dyno that with ITR cams and ITR intake manifold, a 4000 rpm changeover was the smoothest and made the most total power.

Just FYI.

BTW, How much are you asking for the Black hatch? I'd like another for a daily driver!

I never took my car to a dyno, but 4000 would be way too low for my setup. I found the right x-over by driving my car up a -very- big hill in higher gears. anything under 5200 caused major bogging. Course, i dont have an ITR manifold or cams
Thanx for the insight though

ha ha. real funny. everyone come have a good laugh at my car

I'm curious why almost 95% of the ef swaps I see include a rigged *** intake setup, consisting of either duct tape, electrical tape, someones moms' panty hose.... I haven't seen one battery box yet. I mean, it's almost upsetting to see an awesome swap, followed up with a custom 3 color 4 piece turbulence machine, because the factory battery location won't allow anything larger than 2.5" piping. ****, if anything, you might gain a better weight ratio, seeing as how your adding unwanted weight to the front of your car, you might as well toss the battery in the back.

sorry about the rant...

btw I've helped find homes for 3 battery relocate kits this week.... planning on changing the world one ef at a time, your's may be next!

My intake is 3" as well, and has a bracket that bolts under the fuse box. I never have any problems w/ it hitting the batter. . .
