Ok, I searched but the one thread from 2002 about this topic was not answered.

Anyway, I'm thinkin of pickin up a pair of 89 hatch tail lights for my 91 hatch. I know that the 91 has 2 brake bulbs on each side. So if the 89 lights' only have one, how can I hook up the harness to my 91?

they'll still work fine, however you just don't have to use the 2nd light bulb, if your intrested, i can sell you my 90 tail lights, that can save you some hassle..
