Default Wil Navarro at Exospeed(.com)

I waiting for a refund from Wil at Exospeed and it's been over a month. Are you waiting for product or a refund from Wil? If so, I'd like you to share your story. I've contacted a few agencies regarding my situation. Soon, I'll post links where you can also file complaints.

Exospeed from what I hear is reputable. post up your story so it doesn't sound so one sided.

I had heard good things about Exospeed and Wil before I inquired about ordering. There's a guy I compete against in racing who suggested Wil because of a group buy he was involved in. I felt confident with this interaction right up until the time I ordered. My point is that Wil owes me $960 and is in violation of Federal Trade regulations. Please don't feel the need to stand up in Wil's defense, unless you're willing to front Wil the refund money owed to me. Anyway, here's my story...

Wil and I communicated via email about Lenso VPD wheels. We agreed on a price of $960 for 8 wheels including shipping. The wheels were not in stock so I was placing a paid in full pre-order for mid-June delivery. In late May I sent Wil a check for the total amount, it cleared my bank in early June. Around the 15th of June I inquired about the status of my order. Wil didn't have an update for me. I went shopping around and found another retailer who had the wheels in stock. After a few days of waiting I emailed Wil for an update and mentioned I had found another source. He still didn't have any news about the wheels so he was willing to refund my money. Expecting the refund to arrive shortly, I went ahead and ordered 8 wheels at a slightly higher price. I inquired about my refund in early July. Wil had said that the check was written on the 3rd and would ship on the 6th. Then on the 14th I asked about the status of the refund and was told that the check was only just written on the 13th. Wil said it would be sent on the 14th via USPS Priority and I'd receive the check no later than the 17th. On the 19th I started sending emails to Wil that went unanswered for quite some time. He recently emailed me and said he hadn't forgotten me, but that his account was short and he was sorry for the delay. He never mentioned when I could expect the refund and has not responded to any of my latest emails or calls.

Many people from this site have sent IM regarding their interactions with Wil. These people are either waiting for a refund or product from Exospeed that is long overdue. I spoke with one of the Manufacturers who's product is listed on Wil's site. He is waiting for payment for items; he received a check for half but there were no funds to back it up.

I wasn't taking any sides, I just wanted to point out that whenever there is a thread like this everyone reading it should be able to know all the facts.

Sorry if my last post sounded like it was specifically directed towards you. I just wanted to make the statement to the general viewer. This topic is not about sides, so I hope there won't be any posts like that.

im in the same boat sent check late may and tried to be patient but had probs getting in touch with wil finally last week he said he would send refund so im waiting i e-mailed him again and im waiting for a response definately let me know who to contact about a claim if i have to but i don t want it to go that far.... hopefully we can get it resolved....

this is what exactly has happend to me, except i only pre-paid for one set of rims. mine were suppose to arrive mid june also. but i havent gotten an update or anything, i was also promised a refund and nothing. he has not contacted me once since he told me i would be getting a refund.
Ive tried to keep my situation with will private so that i wouldnt tarnish his "good" name but now im just fed up. If your reading this will, i would like my money back soon.

Wil, is a good guy sorry guys but i am the only only maybe in here that's got his back i mean if anything really goes wrong you should call him, which is what i did, call him constantly don't make a thread about him yet. Hopefully you guys get your problem resolved, i think something just happened to Wil because he's not on honda-tech usually like before.

Wil isn't just some guy, he's trying to run a business named Exospeed. Since he has a business he is required to follow certain laws regarding fair trade. One of them is to make a refund within a week of a customer's request, if the product ETA has passed. As far as calling him, he never answers is cell phone and his voice mail box is full. A customer shouldn't have to call a business repeatedly anyway. I was out almost a 1K, that's not a fortune but it's enough to make me pissed. Lucky for me, he finally came through with a check that didn't bounce. Contacting 3 government agencies regarding Wil's business practices probably helped me out in my situation. If you've Wil's back, offer to pay his debts. I'm sure he'll pay you back eventually.

:sigh: I'm still waiting on my coated Bisi header since late APRIL. Now I don't know if it's Wil or whoever is making Bisi's headers or the coating company or what, but this is ridiculous. I mean I was in the 1st group of 10-94 purchasers who waited 4 months for a header. Well now it looks like it's going to happen again as it's been over 3 months and I can't get ahold of will at all. I got ahold of him about a month and a half ago over the phone. He quoted me originally 2 weeks. I told him I know better as I've dealt with "custom header" manufacturers before. So I figured 4-8 weeks. Well he stopped responding to PM's. I'm not going to bother with e-mails so I've tried calling but no luck.

I'm not discouraged or dissatisfied. Just a contact and an update is all I'm really worried about. I mean it's going on my race car and it's not important right now as the engine isn't even finished building yet, but an update would be nice.

I have also prepaid for a set of Lenso's with M&H slicks. Wil has stopped to reply to me to. Wil give me an update about the items or contact me about transfering the money back to me.

yup i preordered lensos and slicks as well and he wont reply to my e-mails after he said he would send a refund.... i dont want to file a complaint but i think i am being forced to.....

Why does most shops that have to do with imports do **** like this , I mean this is always ******* happening and it makes it hard to stay interested inyour car because you never know who is going to **** you . As for making excuses thats bullshit you running a business and if you cant manage your account then ******* go take some business classes but that no excuse for taking peoples money and making them wait while the person with the business pockets are still getting fatter with customers money and delivering no product . I have had three different shops on H-T pull **** like this , who in the **** can you trust .

oh and as for the people who are standing up for exospeed (in other threads) if it was your money you would be pissed also.... if u want to write me a check for my $610 then thats cool then u can stand up for them until then stfu

exospeed had ripped off alot of people including myself. wtf is goin on with them. i want my damn money back.
