Any D series head will fit.
If it's a vtec head going onto a non-vtec block, then you might have to do some modifications, but as future reference.....as long as it's the same series engine, anything will swap over.

the d is still going on today, in the 1.7L in the new civics. but the ones you are lookin for are up till 2000 any d16 will work well.
you would be goin to a single cam but imo id go with the d16y8

No D series SOHC head will fit on a dohc block without expensive machine work. From what I understand. It can be dont but your going to spend alot of money. I think the only way it will bolt on with no mods is using another dohc 1G integra head.
